- Squaw Valley Mountain Bike Park: This park offers more than 12 miles of single-track and cross country trails. The Squaw Valley Mountain Bike Park is ideal for intermediate and advanced mountain bikers. Because of its rigorous and unpredictable terrain, these trails are not recommended for first-timers and beginning mountain bikers.
- Kirkwood Mountain Bike Park: At Kirkwood Mountain Bike Park, located 30 miles south of Tahoe, there is a trail to fit almost every fitness level. Beginning, intermediate and advanced bike riders can enjoy miles of single-track trails through beautiful backcountry. Kirkwood Mountain Bike Park features 18 trails that are split between beginner (10 percent), intermediate (50 percent), advanced (30 percent) and expert (10 percent). Visitors who don’t have a bicycle, can rent a mountain bike and other gear at the High Alpine Adventure Center, located at the base of the trail.
