The Beacon Bar and Grill Tahoe Offers American Dining Close To The Water.

Features: The Beacon Bar and Grill Tahoe invites you to slow down and enjoy the afternoon with good American food. Beacon Bar and Grill at Camp Richardson serves lip-smacking, tasty drinks that you'll love sipping out on the patio.

Why We Dine: The Beacon Bar and Grill Tahoe is famous for a few things, but the one that bar-goers here rave about is the Rum Runner drink. Beacon Bar and Grill at Camp Richardson will keep your energy soaring with its American food.

  • The Rum Runner: This classic drink from The Beacon Bar and Grill Lake Tahoe sends flavors spinning and colliding in your mouth. Tropical passion fruit! Sweet pineapple! Orange with a twist! They come together and do a little pow wow on your taste buds.
  • The Outdoor Deck: Let the sun's rays sprinkle your cheeks with kisses or freckles. While you eat your Tuscan chicken sandwich, you can indulge in the sights of nature all around you.
  • The Brunch: Say hello to cinnamon raisin French toast. The sweet bread will put a smile on your face and get you so ready to enjoy everything you have planned for the day. Guests love eating a fine midday meal at The Beacon Bar and Grill Tahoe.

Inside Knowledge: The Beacon Bar and Grill Tahoe keeps the crowds clapping and foot tapping along to the live music. Wander on into Beacon Bar and Grill at Camp Richardson on a Friday or Saturday evening, and you'll find yourself at a cool private concert.

We Recommend:

  • Seafood Linguini: Restaurant at Camp Richardson Resort in Tahoe shines with this entree, a creamy concoction of noodles, shrimp, clams, scallops and salmon. The white wine cream sauce coats the seafood and noodles, and you get crisp garlic bread on the side.
  • Killer Mac N' Cheese: Bring on the creaminess with this favorite dish at The Beacon Bar and Grill Tahoe. Vermont white cheddar gives this mac n' cheese the ultimate kick, and this pasta comes with bread crumb topping too.

beautiful location

I luv the beach and music but the service was slow and we felt very rushed. I was astonished they priced thier frozen re-heat meals as handsomely as they have. Business must be steady with fresh victims! open your wallet and enjoy the liquor because the food will taste better after a few!

great views

The views are spectacular! However, you will pay for them! If traveling the shore of Lake Tahoe by boat this over-priced tiki bar will be very convienent. If traveling by car or bike save your money and ask your concierge for other options. The staff believes they are doing you a favor so dont expect them to go the extra mile or for that matter even smile! Done it once-enough.

Great Food Right On the Lake

The Beacon is awesome! First off you HAVE to try their clam chowder! It’s to die for. That was the best part of the entire meal.

The Beacon sits right up against the water, so if you go during the daytime, you get gorgeous waterfront views of the lake. Dinner during sunset is probably the best time to go. During the summer, there’s an awesome outdoor patio area.

The restaurant is really casual during the day, and at night they seem to bust out the white tablecloths and make it into a fancier place.

Be sure to ask for what’s on special. When I was there, it was $2 draft Coors Light. Score! For my entree, I got the Surf & Turf Salad, which the waiter recommended. Excellent choice! It was a nice light salad with steak and shrimp (the shrimp was the best part).

I’d definitely recommend the Beacon anytime. It’s a little pricey, but the food is awesome, the service is great and you get awesome views of the lake while you enjoy your meal.
