The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe

The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe serves the Truckee and entire North Lake Tahoe area by providing pet adoptions, community spay/neuter services and humane education programs. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation run by a very small staff and a cadre of dedicated volunteers. We are funded solely by private donations.

Adoption days are held every Saturday at the Town of Truckee�s animal kennel location in the Town Corporation Yard and at certain special events throughout the year. We are always welcoming new volunteers at our volunteer orientations conducted twice a month.
