Squaw Valley

Squaw Valley offers the most for all seasons. Our mountain offers some of the best and most exciting terrain in the world.  Squaw Valley is a year around destination vacation resort.  In the winter we offer Alpine Skiing, fully groomed Cross Country track, snowboarding, Sleigh Rides, Mountain climbing wall.  In the summer, activities abound.  We have the Ariel tram, which operates all summer. There is a fabulous Mountain Bike Park, swimming lagoon, tennis courts, golf, horseback riding, bike trails, bungee jumping and some of the most fabulous hiking trails in the Sierra's.

A Tradition of Excellence and Service since the early 1950's

It is difficult to separate the name Poulsen and the history of Squaw Valley and Lake Tahoe.  In 1940 Wayne Poulsen brought his young bride Sandy to Squaw Valley. It was here that they formed Squaw Valley Land and Livestock Company, which today is Squaw Valley Realty.  The Poulsen's raised all eight of their children in the valley, two of which went on to become Olympic Ski Champions, One son, Eric, became All-American.  Since the 50's the Poulsen family has played an active role in bringing worldwide recognition to Squaw Valley and Lake Tahoe.  The entire family has helped the community and helped to make it what it is today.
