Good old fashioned steakhouse cuisine

This is a decent restaurant. Nothing special by any means, but decent. It’s in the Lakeside Inn and Casino, which looks like it never made it out of the 70’s. Luckily, the Timber House is the nicest part of this place.

It’s kind of like an old fashioned steakhouse, with old school American cuisine. I got the chicken fried steak, and it was delicious! Very filling and really bad for you, but actually really good. The portions are really big, and I made the mistake of ordering a side salad too, which I definitely didn’t need. We sat in the bar area where it’s super casual, but you can also sit in the dining room which is a lot nicer. The service was on par and the bill wasn’t all that expensive. There are definitely better restaurants out there, but this does the trick. Especially if you’re not looking to eat very healthy. I would go back for sure.
