Nice but not the best beach in Lake Tahoe
Kings Beach is definitely a nice place, but it’s nothing special, especially compared to some of the other beaches in Lake Tahoe. But lets be honest, there’s no bad beach on the lake, it’s just that this one isn’t the best. However, I did only visit it during the winter, and I’m sure it’s much better in the height of summer! One of the things I didn’t like is the you have to pay for expensive parking, which really sucks. But you can maybe find street parking across the street and just walk. They do have BBQ grills set up and in the summer you can even rent equipment like jetskis and stuff to use. If you’re staying in North Lake and this is convenient for you, then check it out, but don’t go out of your way for this beach or anything. There are better ones like Zephyr Cove and San Harbor.
