Great for Families and Friends!
We eat at Jason's at least once a month (locals). In the summertime you can sit out on a lovely glass-enclosed deck with views of Lake Tahoe. There are heaters out there in case the temps drop after sundown - which they do! Jason's has a full bar, a salad bar (rather rare in North Lake Tahoe), and varied nightly specials. The French onion soup is very good, as is their hamburger selection. Ribs are the fall-off-the-bone variety; some people don't like them that way, but it's less messy, and the BBQ sauce is really yummy. Two different versions of salmon, both excellent, and pasta dishes as well. There is even an indoor fire pit with circular seating around it if you have to wait for a table in the winter time. In the summertime they often have free music on the lawn out back, with a little "beach bar" serving various cocktails! This is a very popular restaurant for the apres ski crowds, too, so be prepared to wait a bit! It's worth it.
