This morning marks the first snowfall of the season in Lake Tahoe! This has been long awaited for many of us, and we're thrilled to see it's still coming down! We'd say this marks the time that you can start planning your winter trip to Lake Tahoe, in case you haven't already started!

No need to shop around for cabins, ski resorts, ski rentals, and everything else you'll need this winter, because Tahoe's Best can tell you all of it, and help you find everything you need to make your trip to Lake Tahoe this winter filled with adventure and still help you save a little while you're there!

Where to Stay

Everyone likes something a little different. Staying in a cozy cabin is definitely a good option if you're looking for a weekend getaway, where you really feel like you're getting away! Ski resorts with ski in/ski out access right on the slopes are perfect for those of you coming to Tahoe for a ski trip. Why not stay right in the action? Here are our recommendations:

  • Pyramid Peak Properties offer a better way to vacation - in a luxury home, cabin or lodge! Many are pet friendly if you'd like to bring the family dog to play in the snow while you're hear, and most of them are so close to ski resorts, but still offer enough privacy to ice the wounds from your adventures on the slopes in the comfort of your own place! Some of them still have the luxury of ski in sky out access so you can wake up and get back out on the slopes right away!
  • The Village at Northstar is just as much luxury, but in condo-style accommodations, complete with all the amenities and services you'd get at a hotel, but better! Suites come in different sizes, from studios to 3-bedrooms, so you can accommodate everyone you want to bring along with you. From the luxury amenities you'll enjoy on your stay, like ski in/ski out access, a fitness center, jacuzzi, and more, to the dining and nightlife on site, to the skating rink surrounded by fire pits, you'll never run out of things to do here!
  • Find all the best Tahoe vacation rentals for your trip, and narrow it down by region, price, rating and type! Before you book, be sure to take a look at tall the Tahoe deals and packages for every resort, rental and hotel!
