Mountain Air Sports River Rafting Offers a Thrilling Water Rafting Experience!

Summary

Features: Mountain Air Sports River Rafting is one of Lake Tahoe's original rafting companies. Tahoe Truckee River Rafting tries to accommodate visitors in every possible way to ensure a fun and pleasant rafting experience down the majestic Truckee River. River rafting is a fun and safe option for small and large groups, including families with young children. Their sturdy rafts can accommodate parties of four, six, eight or 10 people.

Why We Go: Enjoy a relaxing five-mile ride down Truckee River in a sturdy raft. Tahoe Truckee River Rafting is an exciting outdoor activity for people of all ages. Experience Tahoe's stunning horizon, mountain peaks and lush forest trees while sailing down the clear turquoise waters of Truckee River.

  • Family Friendly: Some of the bigger rafts can comfortably fit up to 10 people, ideal for large families with kids. Children as young as two-years-old are permitted to ride in the rafts. And life vests are provided for everyone on board.
  • Free Parking & Shuttle: Tahoe Truckee River Rafting provides free parking and shuttle service to its guests.
  • Calm Waters: Truckee River is a smooth and calm ride, making it easy for beginners and first-timers to safely navigate through its waters. Inside Knowledge: Truckee River Rafting with Mountain Air Sports offers a $5 off coupon on their website.

Do's and Don'ts:

  • Do Bring a Cooler: Plastic coolers are allowed and encouraged. With many picturesque spots to stop along the way, visitors can pull their raft ashore and enjoy a packed lunch. Styrofoam coolers or cups and glass bottles are not permitted.
  • Do Bring Your Dog: Mountain Air Sports River Rafting is one of the few companies that does allow dogs on the rafts.
  • Don't Forget Your Sunblock: During the Summer it can get quite hot and since the ride can last as long as three hours, its recommended to wear sunblock.
  • Don't Bring Electronics: Although the water current is slow and one can make it through without getting wet, it is probably best to leave pricey electronics such as digital cameras and smart phones on dry land to avoid any mishaps.
