  • Le Chamois: This restaurant makes spending time with loved ones an especially amazing experience.  While filling their bellies with pizza and sandwiches, guests enjoy regaling each other with tales of their day. The atmosphere is lively and fun. The beer, the food and the outdoor patio will feel like just what the doctor ordered at the end of a big skiing day.
  • Wildflower Baking Company: For a pleasing snack during the day, Wildflower Baking Company is worth the visit. Among restaurants at Squaw Valley USA, this restaurant draws a crowd with its made-from-scratch bagels, multi-grain bread, and homemade baked pastries. The pretzels and cookies taste wondrous.

We Recommend:

  • Auld Dubliner: Guests can get a taste of the old countryside right in Tahoe. While a trip to Ireland would be nice, a visit to Auld Dubliner will suffice quite wonderfully for an escape to Ireland. A pint of Guinness warms the body up quite nicely, while curry fries, sausage rolls, and sheperd's pies ensure that guests leave full and happy.
  • Fireside Pizza Co: The satisfying Italian eats at this restaurant allow guests to live vicariously in the Tuscan countryside. The fine pizza consists of sourdough crust along with high-quality toppings.

Cornice Cantina is a casual place to eat after a day of skiing

Squaw Valley is a really cool place. You really get that whole mountain vibe up there that can sometimes get lost when a place has too many things. Even though there’s not a lot in Squaw, they’ve made it almost into its own little village and there are several restaurants to chose from. I ate at the Cornice Cantina after skiing one day and it was pretty good. There are a few more fine dining restaurants in Squaw, but this isn’t one of them. Its in the parking lot of Squaw connected to a desk to buy lift tickets, you can’t miss it. It’s a super casual joint, everyone was in their ski suits and sunglasses. They have a really nice outdoor patio, but it was full so I sat at the bar inside. It’s just a chill place to just get some tacos and some cheap beer. The tacos were actually pretty good. I went right as the lifts stopped for the day, so it was super packed and the wait was kind of long, but other then that, it’s a nice place to get a bite to eat when you’re hungry after a day of skiing.
