It's not only the monster mash that Lake Tahoe travelers will be getting groovy to this October. Check out all the incredible events and concerts going on in October in the area. This month boasts a line up with musical acts for people of all walks of life. From dubstep DJs to classic rock, the concerts taking place in October give a little bit of something for everyone. Other events include comedy, so be sure to laugh up a storm this fall in the Lake Tahoe area!

Datsik - Oct. 4

Datsik was around before Britany Spears and Taylor Swift started dup- steppin’ it up, so that gives him some credit. Hop on the dubstep wagon (everyone else seems to be) and check out this DJ perform at the Knitting Factory Concert House in Reno, NV.

Pepper - Oct 10

Not completely reggae, not completely rock. Pepper originated in Hawaii, and their sound makes you feel kind of like you are in high school listening to Sublime. They play at the Knitting Factory House in Reno, NV. Concert starts at 8 pm.

Curtis Stone - Oct. 12

Yum from down under! Australian chef Curtis Stone is bringing his delicious talents to the Silver Legacy Resort on October 12. Don’t miss this chance to put another shrimp on the barbie, mate!

Disclosure - Oct. 12

Get those dancin’ shoes on for Disclosure, playing at the Knitting Factory Concert House in Reno, NV. Dance till you drop with the English electro duo and feel those electronic sound waves. Concert starts at 9 pm.

Morgan Preston - Oct. 8 - 13

Get giggling on October 13 at Morgan Preston’s comedy show. We don’t know how stand up comedians do it, but this guy does it well! See Morgan Preston crack jokes at Silver Legacy Casino. Show starts at 7:30 pm.

JJ Ramirez - Oct. 15 - 20

Laugh from comedy show to comedy show this month! JJ Ramirez, sometimes known as the “Latin Lunatic” will have everyone hootin’ and hollering with his wildly funny bits. JJ Ramirez laughs it up at Silver Legacy Casino.

Bryan Adams - Oct. 16

Is it still the summer of ‘69? It is for Bryan Adams! With many hits, including “Summer of ‘69” and “Everything I Do (I Do it For You)”, Bryan Adams will take you back to the golden years at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts in Reno, NV. Show starts at 8 pm.

Lisa Lampanelli - Oct. 19

Try not to get your feelings hurt this October at Lisa Lampanelli’s stand-up comedy act at Silver Legacy Casino in Reno, NV. Lisa Lampanelli is known for her insulting jokes, but we still think she’s a hoot. Show starts at 8 pm.

Portugal. The Man - Oct. 22

We can get jiggy for hours listening to Portugal. The Man. Feet just don’t seem to stand still when these guys are jammin’. Check them out at Silver Legacy Casino on October 22 at the Knitting Factory Concert House.

Moody Blues - Oct. 26

If only they were playing on a “Tuesday Afternoon”! All bad jokes aside, the Moody Blues are sure to amaze with their hypnotic tunes. Turn back time at the Silver Legacy Casino. Show starts at 8 pm.

A.F.I - Oct. 29

The 90s called, it want’s its black hair dye back. AFI has gained amazing commercial success in the past decade, so take this opportunity to check them out. Show starts at 8 pm at the Silver Legacy Casino.

Cut Copy - Oct. 31

Feel like getting dancey? Cut Copy, an Australian electronic band known for electro beats that get the feet movin’, is coming to Reno on All Hallows Eve! I’ll wear a scissors costume if you wear a copy machine outfit.See them play at Silver Legacy Casino. Show starts at 8 pm.
