A Standing Ovation for This Year’s Lake Tahoe SummerFest

With days packed with so many Lake Tahoe activities, nights at this year’s Lake Tahoe SummerFest are perfect for decompressing. Guests are sure to be mesmerized by the incredible talent and enthralling notes at this season’s SummerFest concerts at the lake. A more perfect setting cannot be imagined as visitors are invited to enjoy the magic of classical music within the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe.

Enjoy the Music

From world renowned soloists such as Frederica von Stade, to the perfect musical collaboration of the Lake Tahoe SummerFest Orchestra led by Maestro Joel Revzen, the performances of SummerFest 2013 will have guests amazed by the music. The Lake Tahoe SummerFest concerts are during on the first three weekends of August, so make sure to join the magic. Tickets are on sale now, so don’t forget to buy them in advance!

Each night of the weekend boasts a different musical experience, and finding the perfect one is not difficult. Friday evenings feature an orchestral performance with soloists, Saturday nights are designated to Chamber Music, and Sunday afternoons are perfect for the whole family with kid friendly shows that will capture the hearts of young ones. Friday and Saturday concerts begin at 7pm, while Sunday family concerts take place at 4pm. The SummerFest even hosts rehearsals that are open to the public during this special event.

An Intimate Experience

The venue is a 500-seat acoustic tent, which was constructed especially for the event. SummerFest concert goers are able to fully hear every note and see each movement in this elegant and personal venue.

With so many upcoming SummerFest concerts, sweethearts and families alike are invited to pack a picnic and enjoy an evening of musical delight. SummerFest at Lake Tahoe is taking place at Sierra Nevada College at Incline Village in Nevada, and is accessible for anyone visiting Lake Tahoe. Sierra Nevada College is located on the Nevada side of the lake, nestled in groves of those famous Lake Tahoe pines. On the northeast side of the lake, the venue is easily accessible from any Lake Tahoe hotel.
