Great Food, Great Vibe

On my first day in Lake Tahoe, I was starving for dinner and had heard of The Fresh Ketch, so I decided to try it on a whim just because I was desperate. It turned out to be the perfect choice!

First off, it’s right on the water on the Tahoe Keys next to boats rocking on their docks. So the outdoor setting is very relaxing with a great lake feel. Then when I walked in and there was a live band, and not some loud, annoying band, but a really chill live band. The vibe was great!

I ordered right away because I was starving. I ordered the fish tacos, and they were awesome! Coming from San Diego, I know fish tacos, and these were legit. I’d definitely recommend them and I would order them again in a heartbeat.

The server was so nice too! Such an awesome lady. I actually found something weird floating in my wine, but she immediately got me a fresh glass.

The food was great, the service was awesome, but the best thing about this place was the vibe here. It was chill and fun at the same time. The perfect place to enjoy a relaxing evening with a glass of wine and great live music.
