It’s everyone’s favorite season… and time to think about getting up to Lake Tahoe for a much anticipated winter Lake Tahoe ski trip. We all love getting on those powdery slopes, but no one wants to sit in traffic or worry about figuring out sticky carpool situations. Leave the driving to Bay Area Ski Bus and get up to Lake Tahoe stress free!

Bay Area Ski Bus provides transportation from (you guessed it) the Bay Area up to the mountains for those looking to skip the drive. From single day trips to overnight hotel stays in the area, Bay Area Ski Bus makes being a Bay Area Ski Bum a piece of cake. Why do we love Bay Area Ski Bus so much? They donate $1 per rider to Make-a-Wish Foundation in the Bay Area, and High Fives Foundation in Truckee. We love awesome companies who care! Leave the Lake Tahoe transportation to the pros, and feel good about it.

Lake Tahoe Day Trips

Starting in November Bay Area Ski Bus will open for the season, making frequent trips throughout the entire ski season. Hop on the Bay Area Ski Bus and don’t worry about driving. Though Bay Area Ski Bus offers trips available for anyone, their rides are age group specific, so don’t be singing “What’s My Age Again” while planning a ski trip this year. Check the schedule (found at bayareaskibus.com)  for age specific trips including (but not limited to):

  • Families: Family trips start Dec. 7, so be sure to sign up for a family day trip to Kirkwood, Squaw Valley, Sierra Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, or Northstar. Direct those “are we there yet”’s to the bus driver.
  • Teens: Have your kids get out and socialize with other teens this ski season on a Bay Area Ski Bus trip! Groups of 50 teens thrown in one bus? Leave it to the pros over at Bay Area Ski Bus.
  • Singles: If you are sick and tired of trying to force your friends out the door at 4 am to make the long drive up to Tahoe, why not leave them behind this year and book a singles trip on Bay Area Ski Bus? Leave the drama of who will drive (after a few glasses of wine) in the bay and hop on the Bay Area Ski Bus!

Pick Up Locations

Bay Area Ski Bus makes a Lake Tahoe ski trip easy with pick up spots sprinkled throughout the whole bay area. The six major pickups are San Jose/Sunnyvale, San Francisco, Oakland, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton and Foster City. Available this year are also Concord and Fremont!
