I’ve been staying at Marriott hotels my entire life and some of them are better than others. This is one of those that are better. It’s actually a super nice hotel with a real mountain feel to it. It’s always nice to stay at hotels in Tahoe that make you feel like you’re up in the mountains. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. There’s a big huge lobby with a fireplace and couches. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were super spacious.

The best part about the Marriott is that it’s literally right next to the gondola to go up and ski at Heavenly. So you can just walk over with your skis, which is so convenient because parking can be a pain in that area. As far as skiing goes, I think it’s probably the most convenient hotel in South Lake Tahoe. Summer is a different story though. There’s also a grocery store and some good restaurants right across the street too!

Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place! It’s one of the nicer hotels in all of South Lake Tahoe.
