Just a casual spot for tacos and beer

Cornice Cantina is just a little eatery in Squaw Valley. A place you go after a day of skiing. It’s a real casual place, everyone is in their ski gear and drinking beers. They have a really nice, large patio, but it was too crowded when I was there, so I sat inside at the bar. They were super busy when I was there, because all the lifts had just closed. So it did take me quite a while to get served. They have a pretty small menu. I think it’s more of a place to drink then eat, but I just got a beer and some shrimp tacos. The food was actually pretty good. Not a huge portion, actually I was still hungry afterwards, but it was good. The beer was cheap though, I think it was like $3. My whole bill was about $11, not bad for a drink and a meal. It’s definitely not somewhere you should go out of your way for. There are way better restaurants in Squaw, but it’s just really convenient after skiing because it’s right there in the middle of the parking lot on your way out.
