Great time with Tight Lines Guide Service
While vacationing in Tahoe, a friend and I took our 4 boys fishing with Tight Lines. It was great. We arrived at the designated meeting spot and met Rick, the proprietor. After greetings, we got right on his awesome boat. The boat was in great condition, had excellent equipment and was very comfortable for everyone. After some quick orientation, we got right to fishing. Rick is a master and knew all the tricks. Quickly our 9YO on board caught a 13lb Rainbow Trout. Soon thereafter, the 7YO caught a 13lber. After a little more work, the 6YO caught a 6lber. While the youngest didn't catch one, everyone had a great time. Rick is great with the kids and they enjoyed hearing his "fish stories", learning fishing, and watching him clean the fish for us. Overall, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Payment was fast and easy. A great day!

It seems like when your fishing with Rick he is able to all but put the bait into the fishes mouth..He has all the best equipment and electronics on board.Rick is also very friendly and was very patient with my 7 year old grandson.I would highly recomend using Rick at tight lines guide service and I am sure my family will be using him in the future.

Tight Lines
We just fished with Rick this last Monday on Lake Oroville. We caught limits of coho on placid quiet waters. Rick has a beautiful, well equipped boat and great fishing gear.
It was a very enjoyable morning.

TIght Lines Guide Service: Great time fishing with exceptional service
I took my wife and two kids fishing with Tight Lines Guide Service and we had an exceptional time. The family could not stop talking about how much fun we had. Rick put us on the fish and the kids were reeling them in while smiling ear to ear. He also took the time to talk with the kids and answer all their questions. Tight Lines is Fishing Perfected
Kennedy has it all dialed in. He knows the spots, he knows what the fish want, and he makes it so easy its silly. He's very professional, and makes sure you are having all the fun. And results don't lie: 2 x 18" Kokanee,salmon 2 x 16" Kokanee, 2 x 18" King Salmon, and many many more. We caught 16 total that day and ate like kings that night. I could not have been more happy.

Coho fishing Lake Oroville with Rick Kennedy
My wife and I wanted to learn to fish for Coho on Lake Oroville and were looking for a good guide. We did our research and found nothing but positive comments about Rick Kennedy. Well, I can tell you they were spot on with their reviews of him. He communicated with us immediately on booking the trip, followed up on everything and was in the water ready to go when we showed up. His boat was absolutely immaculate, very roomy and his fishing gear top notch. From the start he made us feel like we were best of friends, his demeanor and openness to tell you every detail of how to rig for the fish, their habits, how to change things up when the bite slows was more then we expected. We ended up catching our limits of Coho that day and also made friends with one of the best guys you will ever get to go fishing with. We would recommend Rick to anyone wanting to have the most positive fishing experience you could expect.

Great guide, great results
I would totally recommend Rick for a great outing. He catches fish first and foremost, which is the No. 1 expectation for a fishing guide. But his boat is great, the equipment and tackle top notch and he has a funny sense of humor. That's what makes for an enjoyable day. There may be lulls in your fishing, but Rick will keep you entertained. Going out on a lake with him is an enjoyable experience.

Guides Like He Wants You to Come Back
I have fished with Guides throughout North and Central America. One of the hazards in hiring a fishing guide in a location popular with tourists is that many guides in these circumstances seem to assume that because you have traveled from far away to fish, you are not likely to become a return customer. In these situations, the guide may not go the extra mile in creating a fishing experience. Rick Kennedy doesn't run that kind of operation. The boat and the equipment are top quality. Visiting Tahoe in Winter, the heater was a great touch. As any experienced fisherman knows, no one can control fish (that's why we call it fishing and not catching). The day we fished, the bite was on the slow side. But Rick Kennedy was tireless in our pursuit of fish, continually moving and changing tactics until we had success. What was even more impressive, he never watched the clock - in fact I called it quits with Rick offering to keep fishing!
