My husband and I came from Los Angeles to get married at the exquisite Thunderbird Lodge in Incline. We had seen an album from a very talented photographer there, but the cost was at a 1/4th of our wedding budget, which was just too much. We then had another recommendation from our wedding planner and they were booked. I found Candice on this site and I was blown away by her work. I'm a film maker and really wanted someone with a creative and wonderfully aesthetic eye. Candice is SO talented....that words can not even do her talent justice. You have to just go see her work.
We had a few quick conversations, emails and everything was super easy and flowed beautifully. She is extremely well priced and very chill and pleasant to work with. Our location was incredible and had so many beautiful places to shoot. I do feel so bad, because you really don't have much time to get the wedding portraits done. We flew through some awesome locations and then did our family portraits by the water. I would recommend getting the wedding photographer to plot out the family portraits and do NOT take a thousand of them. It's your day and it's important for you to get as many sots together, as possible. These are just things you don't know until you do it.
I am so happy with our shots. They're sweet, funny and totally reminiscent of us and our personalities. The composition of the shots are beautiful and so creative. Candice rocks all the way around!
