Event Overview: Description: The Tahoe Institute for Natural Science TINS), the Lahontan Audubon Society , and the Tahoe Rim Trail Association are at it again! This time, this dynamic trifecta will not only blow your mind with knowledge about birds, there is the added bonus of hiking up one of the Rim Trails highest points: Mt. Rose. Though high elevation and some steep hiking, we will be taking it slow so that we can soak in the sounds and sights of the birds, the array of wildflowers, and the spectacular views!

What to Expect:

Distance: 6.5 miles
Difficulty: Moderately difficult hike

Inside Knowledge: Bring water, snacks, and binoculars!
