Photography by Monique Wedding Photojournalism
|
| You will enjoy working with us because we are pleasant, easy-going, and we truly love photographing weddings. We are not pushy or over bearing: you will hardly know we are in the room. The way we work allows your wedding day to be about you and your family and guests. While we do organize the formal portraits, that is the only time through out your day that we will be asking people where to stand. You won't be placed in stiff, awkward poses, rather we will lightly choreograph more natural, comfortable groupings. During the getting ready stage, ceremony and the reception, we won't be interrupting you to ask, "can you do that again?" We simply use our skills to document everything that is happening around us without interfering. |

The outstanding difference between us and many other photographers who have adopted the candid style that has become so popular today is that we both have professional career backgrounds in photojournalism. We both went to San Jose State University and received our BS degrees in Journalism, emphasis in Photojournalism. |
| This was followed by careers in the field, covering a wide range of events from conflicts in Central America to hometown parades. We are confident that if wedding photojournalism is what you want, we are the most qualified and most enjoyable to work with in the area. Please visit our official website, listed below, to see our complete online portfolios, most recent pricelist, and our complete biographies. |

Listed below is a detailed price list and what exactly is included with each option. I also list a few additional things you may choose to add to each option, such as coffee table albums, a second set of 4x6 prints, etc. If you have any additional questions, please call or email me anytime.
Coverage: can include all or some of the following
- Pre-ceremony preparation: candids of bride with bridesmaids having hair done, make up, putting wedding dress on, etc. Groom getting ready with groomsmen.
- Pre-ceremony portraits: traditionally the bride and groom are photographed separately from each other, with immediate family members and attendants: bride with parents, groom with grooms men, etc.
- Ceremony: candids of key moments, etc.
- Portraits after ceremony: bride and groom together with combinations of family members and wedding party
- Reception: candids of guests, toasts, cake cutting, dancing, etc.
(Portraits can be done as described above, separating them into pre-ceremony and post-ceremony, OR you may choose to have them done all before, or all after the ceremony. I suggest doing them all after the ceremony only if you have a small wedding party, 3 or fewer attendants each, and a small family shot list.)
Costs: there are 3 Options.YOU KEEP THE NEGATIVES WITH EVERY OPTION, no extra charge, or long wait
Option 1: $2,000.00 flat rate.
- You choose either Monique or Scott to be your wedding photographer. Monique specializes in film, while Scott specializes in digital. Scott can, of course, use film or digital, whichever you prefer. Monique is not available for Option 1 Saturday weddings, unless your date is less than 4 months away from the time of booking.
- Coverage listed above, up to 4 hours. This option is perfect for small weddings or people who don't want the whole day documented from start to finish. It can include a little bit of the last minute getting ready process, the ceremony, portraits and the beginning of the reception.

*The photo box uses archival board, black European book cloth, archival book binding paper, and includes a 2x2 picture window on the front. ( See above KOLO website, medium box style is called “Havana.”) The photographs included in the box are printed on 5x5 sized paper with a 3x4.5 image that has a “sloppy border,” which makes the photo look like it is a full-frame darkroom printed image.- For film weddings, all of the negatives from each roll of film are organized, labeled and put in to a separate binder.
