Surrounding the Lake Tahoe Basin are hundreds of miles of trails ranging from easy to strenuous, that branch off into unspoiled wilderness area, monitored by the U.S. Forest Service. As in all wilderness areas, weather conditions may change rapidly, be prepared even if only day hiking.

Led by our seasoned guides and stellar Snowcamping 101 instructors, Wayne McClelland and Jordan Summers, this class will go over all the basics of backpacking from what to bring and how to pack to choosing a campsite and cooking your meals.
