Ski reps Fischer, Rossignol, Karhu and more. There will be a
variety of snowshoes and cross-country skis for you to try...come
find the snowshoes that best fit your needs. Hope Valley Outdoor
will have live music at the shop, and different activities will
be set up. This is the time to try the different snowshoes and
cross-country skis.

Spring Season
Generally runs from May through June. Quite often, winter activities are still available, best enjoyed in the morning. Skiing is marked with our world famous corn snow and afternoons offer a hint of summer activities such as hiking and golf.
Summer Season
Generally runs from July through September. With overnight lows in the 40s and sunny highs in the upper 80s a wide variety of activities are available. Boating, golf, hiking, biking and other outdoor activities may be enjoyed in an ideal summer climate.
The summer activities include three days of fireworks during the Fourth of July, the Lake Tahoe Summer Music Festival, the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, the Concours d'Elegance Wooden Boat Show and much, much more!

Lake Tahoe South Shore Labor Day Fireworks
This years fireworks exhibition will be on Sunday, Septermeber 4th, 2011 and will begin at around 8:30 P.M.
The show will be put on by Pyro Specacular, Inc. and it will be one of the largest firework displays on the West Coast this year. Pyro Specacular, Inc. have also set the fireworks to music so be sure to tune into either KRLT-FM 93.9 or KOWL-AM 1490.
Below is a list of some of the best vantage points:
- Reagan Beach - Arrive early for an up and close view
- Nevada Beach - Wonderful location for an all day scenic event
- Timber Cove Marina - Arrive early for this front row view
- Bijou Community Park - Lots to do at this park while you wait for the firework extrazganza
- The Tallac Historic Site - For the more adventurous this spot allows you a bird's eye view on top of Mount Tallac or relax at Baldwin Beach
July 4th Celebration
4th of July Fireworks schedule in Lake Tahoe
Head to the Lake and see the largest synchronized fireworks display west of the Mississippi.
NORTH LAKE TAHOE JULY 4th FIREWORKS
Kings Beach - Annual fireworks display Sunday, July 3 (free). Also a deck party celebration at the North Tahoe Event Center, beginning at 7 p.m.
Squaw Valley USA - Free fireworks Sunday, July 3 at 9:15 p.m.
Tahoe City - Celebrates 65 years of fireworks at Commons Beach at 9:30 p.m. Monday, July 4 (free). This event is very popular so if planning to attend get there EARLY and build in time to park. Great event for families.
Incline Village - Traditional Red, White & Tahoe Blue festivities scheduled for Friday, July 1 through Monday, July 4. Includes patriotic chalk drawing contest, opening ceremonies with a tribute to veterans, doggie dress-up contest, beer tasting and brats, brunch with Shakespeare and firecracker trail trek. Free fireworks Monday, July 4 at 9:30 p.m. off Incline Beach.
Truckee - Fireworks scheduled for Monday, July 4 at West End Beach at Donner Lake at dusk. Tickets are $6/person (AND CAN ONLY BE PURCHSED IN ADVANCE) and are available through the Truckee Donner Recreation and Park District.
